The day begins around 1:40 pm where you will discover the fascinating Mayan ruins of Chunyaxche with your certified guide who will explain the history of the temples, flora, and fauna.

From there, at around 4:30 pm, you will head into a local Mayan village and interact with the community.

This eye-opening experience will allow you to open your senses to their way of life.

Drink Jamaica water straight from a “jicara” made right there at the moment, taste the local liquor “Xtabentun” made from aromatic herbs and anise, and wander around alongside your guide who will explain the surroundings.

You’ll learn about all aspects of authentic Mayan life; their housing, clothes, food, and respect for nature.

This tour includes:

• a gastronomic workshop
• a spiritual Mayan ceremony, which will help you cultivate good energy and have positive effects on your wellbeing.
• a purification ceremony using the elements of air, fire, earth, and water.
• a Temazcal ceremony (sacred steam bath)
• a swim in a sacred cenote
• a Mayan dinner - enjoy a candlelit dinner made by the community! Savor the flavors of Pubil Chicken, white rice, beans, potato and green peppers, tortillas, dessert, and Jamaica water.

This tour ends around 10 pm.
