10th Street between 4th and 6th
Take a short walk from bustling Fifth Avenue and voilá! La Brocherie brings some fine French flavor and flare to a cozy little joint on 15th street. Their speciality is the roasted chicken, which is delicious in its own right, but they also serve up some wonderful beef bourguignon and other delightful French treats. Bon appetit!
10th Avenue on the corner of Calle 24
Step into the enchanting and welcoming Byblos French restaurant in Playa del Carmen. The authentic French cuisine does offer up dishes such as escargots and foie gras, but it also has an extensive menu which includes Angus steaks, risottos, seafood, fish and fresh pasta. An international wine list completes the evening. This is the perfect setting for a special occasion or a great meal out.
Calle 10 between 1st and 5th Avenues
A relaxed atmosphere and French “fast food” await at this little sandwich shop. Made to order sandwiches with cold cuts, cheeses and fresh vegetables of your choice on fresh French bread or croissant. You can get it to go, or eat it there on the spot. Fresh juices, smoothies or coffees can accompany your breakfast, lunch or dinner.
38th Street between 5th and 1st Avenue
Gourmet French food like you'd only dream of in Playa del Carmen. This petite restaurant serves up a wide variety of delicious French treats. Food, ambiance and service are all spot on, and they have a good wine selection and an array of desserts for which you'll definitely want to make some room. A great alternative when looking for something outside the cuisine you normally find in Playa del Carmen.
